On December 8, with the signing of a memorandum, the Ayb Educational Foundation and Yerevan Mall announced the launch of a new and long-term cooperation on education. Attaching importance to education and being guided by the idea of social responsibility, Yerevan Mall will provide continuous support to the Ayb Educational Foundation’s educational initiatives, starting with a partnership within the scope of the Meghu—Armenian for All contest.
During Ayb's mass competitions, Yerevan Mall will help increase the accessibility to modern educational facilities for a larger number of beneficiaries. In particular, the Captain Kid's Treasure Island entertainment center will make a significant contribution both to the prize fund of the competitions and to the awarding ceremony of the winners, helping organize an entertainment program for children.
This is not the first cooperation of the organizations. It is the continuation of the cooperation started in the first half of the year. During summer, Captain Kid's Treasure Island became a platform for the Kangaroo and Meghu contests’ award ceremonies, supporting the events and providing an educational holiday for children.
On December 26 and 27, the world’s largest school contest of the Armenian language will be open to 3rd-12th graders in the Republic of Armenia and in Artsakh. On December 19, it will be held in a separate stage for the Armenian-speaking students of the Diaspora. Meghu aims to create love and care among generations toward the Armenian language, a key to national identity, by contributing to its dissemination and to the preservation of its role in the world.
