Effective management and leadership skills are crucial for the sustainable development of education institutions. Over the past two months, participants of the Education Management and Leadership training course expanded their knowledge in key areas of education management, from financial management to the legislative framework of education institutions.
During this period, participants studied financial management, including school funding models, effective financial management, and fundraising strategies. They learned about the key financial documents and financial calculations for development programs.
The course also focused on education legislation. The participants were introduced to the key laws governing school activities, to the powers of supervisory bodies, to the mandatory documentation processes for schools, and to related regulations. Special emphasis was placed on the requirements for schools' development programs and the formation of education policy.
The training provided the participants with the opportunity not only to acquire valuable knowledge but also to develop strategic skills. The experience gained will help to manage education institutions more effectively, enhance financial management, and ensure the sustainable implementation of development programs for schools.
The training is implemented by the Ayb Educational Foundation and UNICEF, in cooperation with the RA MoESCS, through EU funding.
