Community
Ayb’s most important achievement is the strong community—a group of people who, despite being scattered across the world, are united by a shared goal to develop our country through education.
The Foundation’s highest governing body is the Board of Trustees, which is elected for a two-year period as a result of intra-community elections. The current BoT composition, with Aram Pakhchanyan as the chairman, was formed in 2021.

He is a bearer of St. Gregory of Narek's ideas, and thanks to his benevolence the statue of St. Gregory of Narek was erected in the Vatican garden on March 21, 2018.

Mr. Sahakyan acted as RA Deputy Minister of Science and Education from 2016-2018. He was Ayb Schoo's Director of Operations in 2018 and since 2020, he has been Ayb School's Executive Director.

He is the founding chairman of the school's Board of Trustees, co-founder of the Ayb and FAST Foundations, chief editor and founding director of Gandzasar Theological Center, founder and director of Vem Radio, the scriptwriter and producer of the documentary “From Ararat to Zion.” He has authored a new Eastern Armenian translation of "The Book of Lamentations" by St. Gregory of Narek.
