AMD 123.3 million raised for Military Training Area construction

A unique military and sports educational complex will be constructed on the premises of Ayb School, featuring various zones: a state-of-the-art laboratory, an obstacle zone, and a sports area.

As a result of a community-wide fundraising effort launched at the start of the academic year, we exceeded our initial goal of AMD 90 million, raising a total of AMD 123,334,624 as of July 3. This achievement allows us to undertake additional work within the project.

The culture of setting collective goals and achieving them together is fundamental to Ayb, as it helps reinforce our community and values. Such an approach reflects our trust in one another and our shared responsibility to shape our future. The campaign's unique feature was its inclusive participation that involved not just Ayb's donors but also parents, the administrative staff, teachers, and students.

A strong state is based on a society that prioritizes quality and comprehensive education, bringing up a new generation with a sense of belonging and responsibility. Through this initiative, we are creating an environment that will nurture individuals who are physically and mentally resilient and capable of facing and overcoming challenges.

The military training area will be open to anyone interested in honing their military skills and knowledge. Experienced professionals, as well as Ayb graduates who have completed military service, will contribute to the training. The learning process will aim to share experiences and build relationships, thus strengthening community potential.

The Ayb Military Training Area will include:

  • Laboratory classroom with a VR headset that creates realistic conditions for tactical maneuvers
  • Obstacle zone adapted to mountainous terrain with a shooting range, trench, barbed wire, wall, and net
  • Sports area with all necessary facilities and equipment for physical training

The first component of the complex is the initial military training classroom-laboratory named Artsakh. It is equipped with the latest technologies and is already operational. We will provide updates on the project's progress and upcoming implementation stages.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone (see the list) who contributed to this noble cause, creating this opportunity for our youth. We are confident that with decisive and conscientious efforts, we can build a powerful and secure country.
