The LegoStart pan-Armenian competition, the second robotics event organized by the Ayb Educational Foundation, aims to make the tournament available to a larger number of children, enabling novice teams to gain experience and eventually participate in the World Robot Olympiad.
The competition is a unique platform to develop:
• logic and engineering skills,
• creative mind,
• skills in applying theoretical programming knowledge.
LegoStart prepares teams for the participation in the World Robot Olympiad.
LegoStart is a team competition. Each team can have two to three participants. Students aged 8-19 can participate in the competition in the respective age groups. Surprise prizes await the LegoStart competition’s winner teams, and the best teams will get the chance to participate in the national round of the World Robot Olympiad.
Since its launch in 2021, the LegoStart competition has become a platform for 40 teams taking their first steps in robotics and engineering, involving a total of 120 participants.
The competition’s unique achievement is the increase of our children's interest in robotics, especially in marzes, and the expanded participation of teams from different marzes.
Through a memorandum signed in September 2023, the Ayb Educational Foundation transferred the rights for holding the competition to its partner, the Contests' Lab Educational NGO.
