Program
Description

ForMath is a traditional annual event organized by the Ayb Educational Foundation and Khan Academy Armenia, with the participation of employees from top technological organizations in Armenia. The idea behind ForMath is to unite organizations from various sectors around mathematics for joint contribution to the development of quality education in Armenia.

The program is an opportunity to support young people and instill love toward mathematics, increasing the number of top-notch educational resources in the Armenian language and thereby contributing to the establishment of young professionals.

The funds raised from the event are allocated to Khan Academy Armenia to develop quality educational content and ensure its accessibility to all children.

For Khan Academy Armenia’s beneficiaries, ForMath ensures:

  • promotion of mathematics and alternative educational resources in Armenia;
  • fundraising for Khan Academy Armenia’s platform, which localizes quality and free educational content and makes it available to all children.

ForMath allows participating organizations to:

  • promote free access to quality Armenian-language mathematics materials for all children in Armenia, Artsakh and the Diaspora;
  • boost the employer’s rating;
  • contribute to the sustainable development of their business (contribution to the development of future potential employees and consumers);
  • promote the growth of employee’s engagement;
  • join the tech community to collectively contribute to positive changes and significant impact.

ForMath is conducted in two ways:

• general competition among technology organizations;

• corporate event for a specific organization’s employees or their children.

Organizations participate in team competitions in a pleasant environment, solving mathematical and logical problems, participating in the joint creation of a unique mosaic, receiving gifts and team photos, and enjoying hospitality.

  • The participation fee for one team in the general competition is AMD 500,000.
  • In case two or more teams participate from the same organization, the fee for each of them is AMD 400,000.
